Plug planting for the neighbours at Corehead
24.09.2025Today we metaphorically sowed the seeds of a new wildflower meadow to boost the insect population in the land of the neighbours at Corehead. The plants that were identified as being the most beneficial for the plot were: devil's bit scabious, knapweed & meadow vetchling. The process involved the following steps:
- Strip a square of the grass away with a scarifying rake.
- Select the plant plugs to be used at the site.
- plant 4 of the same plugs in the square cleared in step 1.
