My second ever tree planting session. I had volunteered one year earlier and on that occasion it was just me and Andy, the BFT manager for T&G. By contrast there were around 20 volunteers at this session. I understand this was due to a greater attempt to advertise the event via social media. My records suggest that on this day I planted in 2 different areas, its clear I was just learning the craft at this point because I only planted 2 bundles which is less than half what I would aim for as I write this a few years on. Althouh in my defense, I remember that the planting area was marginal at best and the weather was very wet and windy.
